Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Network Guide Academy uses cookies and similar browser storage. A cookie is a small piece of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and advertising/analytics identifiers.

1. Essential and security technologies

These support login sessions, CSRF/security controls, load/session behavior, consent choices and other core functions. They are required for requested features and cannot generally be disabled through the Network Guide Academy preference panel. Blocking them in the browser may prevent account or payment features from working.

2. Preference/functionality storage

These may remember interface preferences, dismissed announcements or similar choices that improve usability.

3. Analytics

When analytics is enabled and permitted by the applicable consent choice, Network Guide Academy may use first-party analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, traffic sources, engagement, device/browser characteristics and general usage patterns. Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga. Network Guide Academy does not intentionally send names, email addresses or phone numbers to Google Analytics.

4. Advertising

If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, advertising providers may use cookies/local storage for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency management, measurement and, where consent and law permit, personalization. Third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and/or other websites. You can manage Google personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

5. Cookie banner and choices

When the Network Guide Academy cookie banner is enabled, optional analytics and advertising technologies are withheld until the relevant choice is made. You may accept all optional cookies, reject optional cookies, or customize categories. Your choice is stored for approximately 180 days or until the configured consent version changes. You can reopen Cookie Preferences from the website footer.

If Google advertising is used for visitors in regions where Google requires a certified consent management platform, Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified CMP must also be configured. The Network Guide Academy custom banner is not represented as a substitute for a Google-certified TCF CMP.

6. Browser controls

You can also delete/block cookies using browser settings. Doing so may remove saved consent choices and may affect login or other functionality.

7. Changes

Cookie types can change when website functionality or providers change. We will update this policy when material changes are made.
